Joss

Business Manager & Canine Behaviourist.

Services: Dog Walking, Training/

Behavioural Work, Canine Nutrition & Administration.

About Me

I have often been called the ‘Dog Whisperer’; as ever since I was a child dogs, even very nervous, reactive and even aggressive dogs have felt safe and calm around me.

I have always had dogs throughout my life, mainly Border Collies, my current best friends are my two Border Collies who live with me my wife and two children, and they really are  the life of our home.

They have brought so much joy into our family just by being there, they have made us more social and outgoing. They cheer us up on those dreary English days; So, when I say ‘I truly know how important your dogs are to you’ I mean it.

I have a level 4 (Ofqual) IPET Award in professional dog walking and pet sitting. I also hold a Level 2 City and Guilds Certified in Technical Competence in Dog Walking and pet sitting, as well as having training in First Aid and emergency First Aid for Canines, so you can rest easy that your favourite pooch is in good hands on their walk or training sessions.

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Nutrition and a Level 5 Diploma as a Canine Behavioural Practitioner. I am always advancing my knowledge of canines with recent journals and research.

About Me

I was born and bread In Liverpool and have always had a love of dogs. I have previously volunteered for the Dogs Trust in Liverpool and have now welcomed the opportunity to work with trained behaviourists on a regular basis.

My own dog is a 14 year old Jack Shu called Sasha, she is getting on now and walks a lot less due to her age; i enjoy volunteering with Wagging4Walks as its really enjoyable and healthy to work outdoors.

As a Volunteer i have to be accompanied by one of the companies senior staff however this mean lots of opportunity for learning. I am hoping to start my Level 2 City & Guilds in Competence in Dog Walking soon, with the hope of taking a permanent paid roll at Wagging4Walks in the future.
