Has you puppy or dog not mastered the basics yet?
Is your dog an excessive puller?
Reactive or aggressive to other dogs?
Bad or no recall?
Jumping, lunging, Mouthing, door bombing?
These sessions will show 'you the owner' the techniques to get you dog where you want them to be and back on track to excellence.
We can work with both of you together, to show you the techniques you'll need to get the perfect sit, stay, lay down, roll over, paw, come, leave, look at me, and walk to heel on a lead etc.
Is your dogs behaviour getting you down? Howling and barking when you go out to? Destructive behaviours?
Is your dog reactive or aggressive in the house or out of the house with people, dogs or both ? An obsessive chewer? Does your dog stare at light spots or windows obsessively? Does you dog freak out at random objects or noises?
All these problems and more are what Behaviourists excel at helping you to fix, and they don't just help to fix them, they teach you (the owner) to maintain positive behaviour and prevent future reactivity too.
Applied animal behaviourists focus on shaping behaviours in animals and tend to work with pets displaying behaviour problems. They can recognize how and why your pet’s behaviour is abnormal, and can effectively teach you how to understand and work with your pet. Good behaviourists are experts in behaviour modification and also deeply understand the normal behaviour of the particular species being treated. In addition, they spend a lot of time counselling humans about the way they interact with their pets. They are not usually dog trainers, but at Wagging4Walks there are both; they are often able to implement training as well as give advice about training.
Famous behaviourists include: VICTORIA STILLWELL 'ITS ME OR THE DOG; WORLD RENOWNED IN THE FIELD OF POSITIVE CANINE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES.

Nutritionist Services
These consultations are so we can discuss all the nutritional, dietary and exercise needs of your canine and come up with a plan going forward to reach the ideal weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
*Remember walks are a key part of this!
After the initial consult we go away and within 7 days build a complete lifestyle plan for your canine; specific and tailored to there breed, including a suitable diet, mental simulation and exercise needs. We will then explain to you in detail (with documented advice and do's and don'ts) how to keep and maintain the lifestyle plan going forward.
We return to re-access your dog/s and check their weight and general health visually as well as check-in with you (the owner); and ask important question about there temperament, mood, and wellbeing etc. At this stage we can adjust anything that has become a potential issue and renew the lifestyle plan.
We make our final review of the overall lifestyle plan and determine its overall effectiveness and review again if needed. In most cases after 5 months your dog will have either achieved its weight targets or will be well on the way. Throughout the process you can contact us with any and all questions or concerns etc.
